When the reading pane is set to one side or hidden, it is not retained upon re-launch in Legacy Outlook for Mac

ISSUE

The reading pane settings are not saved in Legacy Outlook for Mac. Setting the reading pane to one side or hiding the reading pane resets after you restart Outlook. This issue occurs after updating to Outlook to 16.102.2 (25102623) Current, and 16.104 (25102631) Beta. 

STATUS: FIXED

The Outlook Team has fixed the issue, and it will be resolved in build 16.102.3 (25110228).
